You are a person who is prone to bouts of self-examination

This is in sharp contrast to an ability you have developed to appear socially engaged, even the life and soul of the party; but in a way that only convinces others. You are all too aware of it being a facade.

This means you will often be at a gathering and find yourself playing a part. While on the one hand you'll be talkative and funny, you'll be detaching yourself to the point where you will find yourself watching everything going on around you and feeling utterly unable to engage. You'll play conversations back to yourself in your head and wonder what that person really meant when he said such-and-such; conversations other people wouldn't give a second thought to.

I read minds, hypnotize, make predictions and make the impossible possible...

Open Mic performance at The Milk Coffee Bar, February 8 2011.

You've learned to deal with this conflict through exercising control. You like to show a calm, self-assured, fluid kind of stability. You most easily recognize this control in how you are with people around you. You've learned to protect yourself by keeping people at bay. Because in the past you've been disappointed, you've learned to keep people at arms' length until you decide they've earned the right to cross that special line into your group of close friends. However, once across that line the problem is that emotional dependency kicks in which leaves you feeling very hurt if it appears they've betrayed that status.

Because you are prone to self-examination, you will be aware of these traits. However, you are usually able to examine even that self-examination, which means you've become concerned about what the "real you" is. You've become all too aware of faces, of sides of yourself which you present to the world and you wonder if you've lost touch with the real and spontaneous you.

You're very creative, and have explored different ways to utilize that ability. That doesn't mean you specifically, say, paint; it may be that your creativity shows itself in more subtle ways, but you find yourself having vivid and well-formed ideas that others find hard to grasp.

"You freaked me out!" - Kim

"Excellent stage presence. You really knew how to command your audience and keep us entertained." - Wayne

"That was intense!" - Mary

I have no idea how the hell you did that. You said you aren't really psychic but I don't think I believe you!" - Cindy

"I was disappointed when it was over." - Nicole

"Man ... I never thought about hiring entertainment for a house party before, but a buddy of mine recommended you and I'm glad he did because that was insane!" - Jesse

You set high standards for yourself and in many ways are a bit of a perfectionist. The problem is that it means you often don't get stuff done,

because you're frustrated by the idea of mediocrity

However, once your brain is engaged you find yourself sailing. It's likely that's lead you to having considered writing a novel or something similar, but a fear that you won't be able to achieve quite what you want stops you from getting started. You have a real vision for things, which others fall short of.

For all that introspection you've developed a dry sense of humour that makes connections quickly and wittily and leaves you making jokes that go right over the heads of others. You delight in it so much that you'll often rehearse jokes or amusing voices to yourself in order to 'spontaneously' impress others. But this is just a healthy desire to impress, and nothing to worry about.

You're a little disorganized but not in an excessive way. A look around your house would find broken things not thrown out, significantly out-of-date notes to yourself, memory sticks of photos not organized or copied to your computer. Something related to this is that you tend to lack motivation. Because you're resourceful and talented enough to be pretty successful when you put your mind to things, this encourages you to procrastinate and put them off. Equally you've given up dreams a bit easily when your mind wandered elsewhere.

You would rather try and fail than settle for the little that you see others content with

And that's why you want me to perform for you. You're in the process of planning something special and the thought of mediocrity terrifies you. You know that your reputation hinges on you providing an experience that is truly unforgettable. You need someone on your side who specializes in making the impossible possible. That person is me.

You want your event to be truly spectacular and so I do. You want me on your side because, as you are aware, I am not an average entertainer. I am a provider of wonder. I can reach inside your guests and tickle their emotions in a way that will have them literally begging you for more.

Whether you are throwing a party, planning a wedding, own a bar or restaurant or are booking for a corporate event I will work with you to make sure your guests get a show they will never forget. But don't put it off like so many other things. Demand for my performances is high and if you wait I might not be available on the day you need me. Let's talk right now and we can create something truly memorable!
